School incursions and excursions

 Darwin Wildlife Sanctuary has already engaged with many schools around Darwin and worked with over 6000 young people over the last 5 years.  
We now offer both incursion and excursion options for any school between Darwin City and Berry Springs. 

Incursions in class
These sessions can be specifically tailored to include any environmental topics that your class might be studying.  
The sessions include a 1/2hr talk on anything from biodiversity in schools, wildlife in urban areas to feral animal control and climate change and 1/2 hr of animal engagement and photo opportunities.  
Cost
1 presenter + 2 critters (up to 15 students) = $150/hr
2 presenters + 2 critters (up to 30 students = $230/hr
2 presenters + 4 critters (up to 40 students) = $250/ 1 1/2 hrs 

Excursions offered
$300/hr  for up to 15 students  & includes a talk and activity sheet on the following habitats and ecosystems.  Schools must organise their own transport to the desired location.

Casuarina coastal reserve
Rapid creek monsoon walk
East point mangrove walk
Howard springs nature park
Charles Darwin national park
